What is Edge?
Edge is our catechesis program for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade middle school youth. Edge is designed specifically for middle school youth to meet their catechetical, educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs.
We all can remember that middle school can be difficult and awkward at times and this reality hasn’t changed. In fact, societal shifts have made the middle school experience more difficult than before. This is why, as our youth wade through all the difficulties of this time of life, they have real questions about their faith, and they need real answers.
Here is where Edge steps in. Edge engages youth by connecting them to a solid, but engaging, Catholic community where they can encounter Jesus in a personal way, grow in the knowledge of their Catholic faith and form their Catholic identity.
