It is our belief and our duty as Christians and Catholics to ascertain that the grace and power of the Eucharist is made available to those brothers and sisters who for some reason are prevented from attending the community Eucharistic Celebration.
The Ministry of Communion to the Homebound reaches out to those who are sick, aged, disabled or convalescing so that they may feel connected to Holy Cross Church and know that someone cares and loves them. It is the objective of the Ministry to make available the Holy Eucharist to those who are homebound at least once a week. It should be noted that a person need not be gravely ill or in danger of death to receive this service. Anyone who cannot attend Mass is welcome to be part of this ministry.
